Competent Surveyors now called Competent Synergies was established in the year 1995, catering to the survey requirements of insurance companies.  This was the area with which the company started its operations. It is over a decade now; the company has not only diversified into number of areas and has firmly stabilized in this discipline of survey, rendering services to an array of private and public sector Insurance Companies.

Our Surveyors and Loss Assessors business has today more that 11 years of experience working for the leading insurance companies. IRDA has given us Category ‘B’ in Marine & Miscellaneous  and Category ‘C’ in Fire Insurance as Surveyors

We strictly work under the guidance given by Surveyors and Loss Assessors Committee for existing surveyors, appointed by IRDA. The parameters taken into consideration by the committee were in relation to academic qualifications, Insurance Institute of India and Institute of Surveyors and Loss Assessors  qualifications, training, highest assessment in professional career number of surveys in the last three years and quantum of loss assessed. As per IRDA Insurance Surveyors and Loss Assessors (Licensing, Professional requirements and code of conduct) regulation, 2000 the maximum number of departments permitted for survey and loss assessment is limited to three; in addition, Loss of Profit Area of work would be allowed to be done only by those having requisite qualifications and experience.
